Mobility Services with Artificial Intelligence: "Urby Mobility"
We develop intelligent vehicle functions of the future.
In a research and engineering project, Zielpuls develops with the BMW Group a platform for the customer that analyses the mobility behavior of a user and can thus predict his or her behavior: the mobility app “Urby Mobility”. An intelligent system uses machine learning to create individual mobility profiles based on the test persons’ habits. These profiles can be used to predict future behavior with different parameters such as location and time. The generated forecasts can be called up via mobile apps as well as in the vehicle itself.
The goal was to develop a platform for individual on-demand mobility that would control traffic flows in a more targeted manner and thus require fewer vehicles on the road.
We support the BMW Group in designing the overall system, implementing the machine learning algorithms and backend functions, and prototypically implementing the applications for mobile devices under Android and iOS. We will also move the backend to the Azure cloud with regard to scaling and protection for future pilot phases.
